Crafting 1200 million years of history - from Kimberley siltstone (Zebra Rock, Primordial Rock and Liesegang Weather Rock)
An oasis by the mighty River Ord, Zebra Rock Gallery is an icon of the East Kimberley. Established for over 40 years, it is a must see activity for visitors to the region. Here you can see our craftsmen fashioning decorative items from 600 million year old Zebra Rock found no where else in Australia or the world. Two other siltstones we fashion are Primordial Rock (1200 million) and Liesegang Weather Rock (200-300 million years old). Call by and browse the Gallery, have a mango smoothy from our Cafe, or a LavAzza coffee and mango fruit cake. Talk to our birds and teach them some new words PLEASE! Walk down to the jetty with a piece of bread and feed our fish (Archer fish, Black Bream and Catfish). We encourage you to visit the East Kimberley, a spectacular part of the world.
